Dr. Williams presents Statistics in a cool and contemporary way that connects younger generations to the world around them. His style and presentation are necessary for every learning environment. As an AP Statistics teacher, I would strongly recommend his course!
— Kamran Salem, Department Chair of Mathematics at Agoura High School

Dr. Williams’ presentation was illuminating and informative for my academically talented juniors... The presentation engaged and involved my students in a simple application within the field that exposed them to the broader applicability of the field while holding their interest.
— Steve Bacharach, Mathematics Teacher at Agoura High School

Professor Williams spoke with my AP Statistics class via Zoom at the end of the school year. He showed the students different and relevant formats for how data can be interpreted. I appreciated Professor Williams’s interest and enthusiasm for the content he presented, and the students were actively engaged with his short lesson. I hope to have him return in the Fall to present to my AP Statistics students as a way to expand their understanding of the applications of statistics.
— Gary Auten, AP Statistics Teacher at Homestead High School

Having Dr. Williams present for my Introduction to Data Science class was great because students were able to see how some of the topics we use in class are actually used in the data science field. Dr. Williams provided relevant topics to my high school class and took their interests into consideration. It is important to expose our students to the data science field, and Dr. Williams has great knowledge. His program shows students how to be able to answer questions based on data rather than by an opinion.
— Jose Ramirez, Mathematics teacher at Mark Keppel High School

The GATO365 Data Science Activities were a great alternative for my students to see a hands-on application of statistics and data science. A number of students had expressed an interest in computer science before, and this was the perfect introduction for them. Some of them are now doing their own research and would definitely benefit from more activities. The ease of use and accessibility is a big plus, and relevant datasets keep the students engaged. Thank you GATO365!
— Ryan Perez, AP Statistics Teacher at San Luis Obispo High School

After the first hourly break of the data science class, my daughter Rachel walked downstairs from her desk smiling ear to ear. She was inspired by the energy the class brought to the subject. Rachel thoroughly enjoyed the classes and is using the experience to strengthen her college applications.
— Parent of a Graduated Data Science Academy Student

So I would just say that it’s a really worthwhile program. It was manageable, it was well worth the money that it costs to complete it. Because it was really something that Nicholas could add to his college applications, which would help him differentiate himself. It also helped him to see if that was an avenue that he even wanted to pursue in college before he had to actually apply. So it was a good way to try it. And kind of try it out before he had to apply for colleges.
— Tammie Riley, Parent of GATO365 Student

So it was like challenging to me in that, I hadn’t had much coding experience before, so learning a new language and also learning about new statistical methods. And I found that the content helped push me. It helped push my knowledge of coding and statistics and data science. Now I’ve found an interest in that, which I hope to continue as a career.
